Reporting

Excel + StackGo

Excel and the compliance workflow around it.

Excel publishes 10 trigger events and 16 actions on its public Zapier listing. That is what a StackGo connector would be built on.

What Excel is

Microsoft's Excel is a spreadsheet application used by millions of users across the world. It is part of the Office ecosystem and is considered the industry standard for spreadsheets. Only files on OneDrive for Business (available with Office 365 and Sharepoint server) are supported at this time with Zapier.

Where it fits

Above the workflow, looking down on it

A dashboard does not do compliance work. It tells you how much is outstanding across the whole book rather than one client at a time. That is close to Monitor but it is not the same job: Monitor re-checks a client, reporting watches the practice.

What StackGo sends to Excel

An outcome, never the client’s identity data. Excel would be told what happened; the verification detail stays in your system of record.

  • What happened
  • Who it was for
  • When
  • Where the record is

Every field is optional. What each one holds, and which carry personal data, is set out once in what “integrates with” actually means.

Can you do integration in Excel?

There is no StackGo connector for Excel yet. Excel publishes 10 trigger events and 16 actions through Zapier, so building one is realistic. Requests decide the build order.

Excel sits beside the work, not inside it.

The compliance work happens in the five workflows below. Excel is where the result lands — nothing starts a check here.
