Project management integrations

For firms that run onboarding as a board rather than a system.

95 systems and tools 82 systems of record

Plenty of firms run client onboarding on a project board rather than in dedicated practice software. It works — the stages are visible, everyone knows whose turn it is, and nothing falls through.

The gap is that compliance still happens somewhere else. StackGo triggers from a card or item moving to a stage, so the check runs as part of the board rather than beside it.

Choosing

What to look for if onboarding runs on a board

Automation on status change. This is the whole mechanism. If the tool can fire when an item moves, you have a compliance trigger.

Somewhere structured to put the result. A column or custom field, not a comment. Comments are invisible to reporting.

Permissions. Boards are usually open by default, and screening results are not board-level information.

Honest limits. A board is a coordination tool, not a system of record. If it is the only place your client data lives, you have a retention and evidence problem waiting.
