Practice management integrations

The system your team opens every morning, and where compliance fits inside it.

Practice management is where the work actually lives — jobs, matters, work items, the queue your team runs off. It is also the most natural place for a compliance check to start, because the trigger is already there: a new client, a new engagement, a matter moving to a stage.

StackGo listens for that trigger, runs the whole workflow, and writes the outcome back onto the client or contact. Your team never leaves the system they were already in.

Choosing

What to look for in a practice system if you are regulated

Workflow granularity. Can you trigger on a stage, not just on creation? Onboarding compliance rarely starts the moment a record exists — it starts when the engagement is real. A system that only fires on create will either run checks too early or not at all.

Where does a result live? A custom field on the client is workable. A note in a comment thread is not — you cannot report on it, and neither can an auditor.

Does it distinguish people from organisations? Karbon does, XPM does. Systems that flatten everything into one contact type make beneficial-ownership work harder than it needs to be.

Team visibility. Compliance is one person’s job until it is urgent, then it is everyone’s. If status is only visible to whoever ran the check, the firm carries risk it cannot see.
