How a World-Check One screening case runs

From a name to a recorded decision

  1. Step 1

    Create the case

The name plus secondary identifiers, such as date of birth, nationality or an ID number.

  2. Step 2

    Screen against World-Check

All source types, or selected ones such as sanctions only.

  3. Step 3

    Review possible matches

Each match side by side with your customer record.

  4. Step 4

    Resolve and record

A status, a risk level and notes. Every action is logged and date-stamped.

  5. Ongoing screening

Clients you keep are rescreened, so a new listing raises an alert.

World-Check One is LSEG’s platform for screening customers against World-Check data on sanctions, PEPs, enforcement and adverse media. You open a case, screen the name, then resolve each possible match with a logged decision. Subscribers sign in at risk.lseg.com, and a separately licensed REST API brings the same screening into your own systems.
